okay. i told ahbelle i would blog. so i will.

work, the focal point of my life right now. one word: HECTIC. basically my life is consumed by it. consumed is so not an understatement. okay i appreciate worklife in the sense that no matter how stressful the day was, you know that at night you can just kick your heels off, let your hair down (figuratively in my case) and slack your ass off, w/o being plagued by assignments and homework and the incessant looming reminder of exams breathing down your neck.

even though you know full well that the next morning the cycle repeats.

but a part of me also misses jc life. i miss the cosy simplicity of it all.

that classroom in that boring ol' grey building where you were allowed to make as many mistakes as you want (unlike work now)

where the highlight of everyday was lunch with that bunch of friends

where toilets became mini gathering areas in between lessons

where music from ipods/mp3s reverberate within the concrete walls even while some of us are sleeping on the tables or busy mugging

where we rush from lecture theatre to canteen to chem lab to hall to track to etc etc

where we all stank after changing from pe shirt to full grey after an exhausting pe lesson

where we devoured foolscape after foolscape on notes and assignments and other random stuff

where there were little complications; just this common goal of a common class working towards the common hellish A's.


wow. that was a really a long time ago wasnt it.



anyway, changed seat a while ago, and now my days are peppered with little bits of joy with the company of ahbelle and ahbao who are now within close proximity, just a tap on the shoulder or an "eh!" away. :) i love them to bits pls. and ahxin of course.

eng team, sigh, always bogged down by a million and one calls, a thousand and one callbacks, and a hundred and one escalations. i am exaggerating of course, but seriously, you gotta do it to know how it's like. mondays, especially, SUCK.

one thing i learnt: multi-tasking, an indispensable and invaluable skill. never be without it.

this job is emotionally demanding. :/


got an offer for Bachelor of Business at Nanyang Business School. quite pleased about it. it shall be my back-up plan, in the event that i get an undesirable answer from nus.

driving tmr... practical test date booked on the 7 june. yikes! :/
